This complete control over our value chain allows us to meticulously manage every step, ensuring that our environmental impact is minimized. Our Botanical Garden: an open-air laboratory,1500 species studied for a perfect knowledge of plants.
Our 60 hectares of organic and UEBT certified fields, cultivated in agroecology for the respect of natural resources and biodiversity.
93% of our products are manufactured in Bretagnein our 3 local factories.
Yves Rocher established his own laboratory in his family home, revolutionizing skincare by providing naturally committed products directly to millions of women through mail order. This made high-quality botanical beauty accessible across France.
Yves Rocher became botanists, harvesters, manufacturers, and retailers. This integrated approach allowed them to control the entire process, ensuring reduced environmental impact and perfect traceability from their fields to the consumer’s skin.
Yves Rocher ceased animal testing 15 years before European regulations mandated it. This pioneering move was recognized with a gold medal by the Society for Animal Protection.
Yves Rocher’s 60 hectares of fields in La Gacilly were certified organic, cultivating signature plants such as Cornflower and Calendula, solidifying their commitment to sustainable agriculture.
Ten years ahead of European legislation, Yves Rocher discontinued the use of plastic bags in their stores, showcasing their dedication to reducing plastic waste.
Through the Plant For Life program, Yves Rocher and its foundation planted 100 million trees worldwide, working with 48 NGOs and involving over a million people across 35 countries.
Yves Rocher's emblematic plants from La Gacilly received UEBT certification, affirming their commitment to ethical and sustainable trade practices.
Yves Rocher aims to become a certified B Corporation, striving to be the best company for the world by positively impacting corporate governance, environmental practices, and community relations.

Here, our products are responsibly crafted at our production sites, which are designated LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) refuges. This commitment extends beyond our products, fostering a holistic approach to well-being that nurtures both you and the planet.
